On June 17, on the territory of the Academy of Creative Industries «Meganom» (project «Tavrida.ART») there will be a concert of the folk orchestra led by conductor Andrey Dolgov. The creative evening will be the final event of the educational race «Only in Russia» of the art cluster «Tavrida». The concert program will bring together musicians playing traditional instruments of the peoples of Russia, and young dancers — participants of the art school of choreography.
The concert program «Only in Russia» will take place on June 17 at 18:30 at the site of the Academy of Creative Industries «Meganom» — a year-round educational center for young representatives of culture, art and creative industries, which has become the core of the youth and educational resort «Tavrida.ART» and one one of the leading platforms in Russia for creating projects in the field of creative industries
The All-Russian Youth Orchestra of National Instruments was created as part of the art school of the folk orchestra of the educational race “Only in Russia”, which takes place on the territory of the Tavrida art cluster from June 12 to 18. For one evening, the open area of the Academy will take guests into the atmosphere of the multifaceted Russian culture, with the help of music, the audience will feel the flavor of the regions of Russia and hear the sound of rare national instruments live. Andrey Dolgov, Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Terema Folk Instruments Orchestra, will take the place of honor as a conductor. The concert program includes performances by more than 70 musicians. The orchestra includes not only the usual balalaika, dombra and button accordion, but also such traditional instruments of the peoples of Russia as cymbals, Ossetian harmonica, Bashkir kurai and kyl-kubyz.
The musical show will acquaint the audience with rethought classical compositions, as well as with modern author’s material played on various folk instruments. Works by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Vladimir Kuryan, Modest Mussorgsky, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and Karl Orff will be performed along with the music of young composers — Ekaterina Khmelevskaya, Natalia Timofeeva and Ural Idelbaev.
The unique sound of folk instruments will be complemented by the performance of the artists of the art school of choreography «New Russian Dances». The bright show of dancers captivates with originality and originality of mixing styles of Russian folk and ethnic culture with a completely new approach to choreography. Also on the final day of the educational race, the participants of the art school of the underwater art park will present the developed concepts of art objects and 3D models, which in the future may become part of the underwater exposition.
In addition, the festival site of the art cluster «Tavrida» will host the exhibition «Russia looks into itself», in which the art school of crafts will share the results of the study of folk crafts. Among the works will be presented souvenirs and creative products created by the participants during the race. The final product of the art school of gastronomy will be the developed methodological recommendations of the creative class of chefs, collected by participants and experts during practical master classes and tastings. An important event for the art school of contemporary literature will be the casting for the special project «Real» and the competition for participation in the art cluster’s publishing program. The educational race “Only in Russia” will end with a gala concert in the format of a house party, in which musicians from the art school of the author’s song will take part — their songs will be included in the music album recorded directly on the site of the “Tavrida”.
