The memory of the Holy Righteous Warrior Admiral Ushakov was honored at the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet

The Black Sea Fleet hosted events dedicated to the 278th anniversary of the birth of the Holy Righteous Warrior — Admiral Fedor Fedorovich Ushakov. At the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet, the clergy of the Sevastopol deanery served a prayer service.

As part of the event, a divine service was held at the icon located in the building of the headquarters of the fleet with a particle of the relics of the Saint. Members of the Military Council, heads of departments of departments and services, commanders and servicemen of formations and units of the Black Sea Fleet took part in the prayer service— the press service of the Southern Military District reports.

At the end of the prayer service, wreaths and flowers were laid at the foot of the monument to Admiral Fyodor Ushakov. The events ended with a solemn passage of the guard of honor of the Black Sea Fleet.
