Vladimir Putin conferred the honorary title «Guards» on the 39th Separate Helicopter Regiment, which is stationed in the Crimea, in Dzhankoy.

We also note the wording — the reason for such a high assessment of military labor:

For mass heroism and courage, fortitude and courage shown by the personnel of the units in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts.

In turn, the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov congratulated the personnel on conferring the honorary title:

I heartily congratulate the personnel of the regiment! Our helicopter pilots inflict crushing blows on the enemy, bringing Victory closer. You are real heroes guys!
