The Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Crimea awarded the winners of the competition “Built in Russia. Built in Crimea»

The Ministry of Construction and Architecture of the Republic of Crimea hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the children’s drawing competition “Built in Russia. Built in Crimea”, which was timed to coincide with the international exhibition and forum “Russia”. Deputy Minister of Construction and Architecture of the Republic of Crimea Anna Kilesa presented memorable certificates and sweet prizes to the children.
Welcoming the winners, Anna Kilesa thanked the children for their active participation in the competition and creative approach:
It is very nice to see with your own eyes the objects to which all our efforts were directed. We hope that you will become interested in our profession and become real creators.
The competition featured children’s works in three age categories — from 6 to 9 years old, from 10 to 14 years old and from 15 to 18 years old, submitted between October 1 and October 31.
A total of 315 works were received. From ten city districts, 213 drawings were submitted, more than half of which were created by young residents of Simferopol, a fifth of the contestants were from Evpatoria. Among the dozen residents of rural regions who submitted more than 100 works to the competition, 44 were works by children from the Simferopol region, 33 were from residents of the Dzhankoy region.
The most popular objects were:
- Crimean Bridge (90 works depicting the object);
- airport (55 works);
- building of the Republican Clinical Hospital named after. Semashko (17 works);
- Simferopol Cathedral Mosque (17 works);
- highway «Tavrida» (15 works).
In the age category 6-9 years, the winners were:
- 1st place – Muslim Osmanov, work “Crimean Bridge”,
- 2nd place — Chirkov Daniil, work “We fly to the rescue”,
- 3rd place – Timofey Ivanov, work “Crimean Bridge” and Sachava David, work “Buildings of Crimea”.
Winners in the 10-14 years old category:
- 1st place – Evdokimova Eva, work “Monument to Catherine the Great in Simferopol, restored in 2016”,
- 2nd place – Morozov Pavel, work “Airport” and Stolyarchuk Arkady, work “Crimean Bridge”,
- 3rd place – Sosonko Veniamin, work “Looking into the Distance” and Busygina Margarita, work “Sunny Crimea”.
Winners in the 15-18 years old category:
- 1st place – Tiselskaya Yana, work “Cathedral Mosque of Crimea”,
- 2nd place – Victoria Kramar, work “Karaite Kenasa”,
- 3rd place – Meshcheryak Varvara, work “MBU “Sports Palace” named after. Yu. Gagarin» and Druzhinin Valeria, work «Simferopol Airport».
Winners of online voting:
- Tkachenko Egor, work “Simferopol International Airport named after I.K. Aivazovsky» (age category from 6 to 9 years) — 851 votes;
- Meleshko Kirill, work “Simferopol Airport” (age category from 10 to 14 years) — 1677 votes;
- Kiriyenko Svetlana, work “Mriya Resort & SPA” (age category from 15 to 18 years) — 2465 votes.
The winning works are planned to be demonstrated at the stand of the Republic of Crimea during the industry ten-day event “Construction” in February 2024 at the exhibition-forum “Russia”.
