The Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation allows the preservation of preferential mortgages after July 1, 2024
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Preferential mortgage programs will be maintained after July 1, 2024, several similar options are being discussed, Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services Irek Faizullin told reporters at the Russia exhibition and forum.
Firstly, it’s completely too early to say, let’s work until July 1st. Secondly, preferential programs will still remain in a certain pattern. There are still many options, but there is no final solution— quote News official
Faizullin added that the preferential mortgage program supported the Russian construction industry.
Earlier, on November 23, it was reported that large Russian banks recorded an increase in the demand of Russians for combined mortgage programs. They allow you to repay part of the loan in excess of the subsidized limit established by state programs at the market rate.
Prior to this, on November 14, Faizullin, during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, noted that the mortgage program in individual housing construction should be separated into a separate project. According to the minister, it is necessary to develop separate support measures in the housing construction system.
In early November, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that the country’s government would allocate an additional 95 billion rubles to preferential lending programs for Russians. He noted that in this area the government is implementing a wide range of measures, including systemic support for soft loan programs.
