The Ministry of Education's ban on the use of mobile phones in lessons is supported by 80% of parents of schoolchildren in Crimea

Parents want to stay in touch with their children while they are at school, but support banning the use of mobile phones in class. Parents of schoolchildren and teachers from Crimea took part in the survey of the service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob.
In Crimea, the ban on the use of mobile phones by children in class is equally supported by both teachers and parents. Ban on mobile phones at school: teachers are for, parents are against. The Ministry of Education’s ban on the use of mobile phones in lessons is supported by 80% of schoolchildren’s parents. Moreover, fathers were slightly more likely than mothers to speak out for this initiative: 83% versus 78%, respectively. Among teachers, the ban on the use of mobile phones in lessons is supported by 89% of respondents,” noted the service’s press service.
There is no unity on the issue of a complete ban on cell phones in schools. This idea is supported by 6 out of 10 teachers and only 3 out of 10 parents. Mothers are more often than fathers against children leaving their phones at home.
