The Ministry of Emergency Situations begins preparations for surveying the bottom of the beaches in the Crimea

Summer is just around the corner, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea is ready to carry out work on the inspection and cleaning of beaches in the Crimea.

Inspection and cleaning of the bottom of the beach water area should be carried out by divers of organizations that have permission to carry out this type of work in accordance with the requirements of the Intersectoral Rules for labor protection during diving operations. In the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea, the forces and means of the Crimean Republican Emergency Rescue Service «KRYM-SPAS» are involved in this work. Today, the institution is specifying the scope of the upcoming work, training sessions are being held to dive divers and explanatory work with the owners of the beaches , — said the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Sadakliev.

He also recalled the responsibility of water users to ensure the safety of people:

The owner of the beach is responsible for ensuring the safety of people, protecting life and health. It is he who, with all responsibility, should take the choice of organizations involved in the survey and cleaning of the bottom of beach areas , the minister noted.

Recall that on the basis of the GKU RK «KRYM-SPAS» a professional diving service has been created and is functioning. It consists of 69 divers trained to carry out underwater work in a specialized diving center. The service is equipped with the most modern sets of equipment and technology.
