The best are Simferopol residents!
The best emergency rescue team of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS» in 2023 was the Simferopol ASO. Second place went to the Bakhchisarai team, third place to the Feodosia team. As noted by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Sadakliev, this competition is held annually among all rescue teams “CRIMEA-SPAS”:
It not only helps improve work in the field of occupational safety and injury prevention, but also contributes to the introduction and dissemination of best practices in the field of emergency rescue operations.
What were they counting? Rescuers scored points according to the following criteria:
- participation of the formation in search and rescue operations,
- participation in the daily activities and public life of “CRIMEA-SPAS”,
- participation in preventive activities,
- compliance with labor protection requirements,
- work aimed at stimulating personnel.
The Simferopol emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» has existed since June 2015. This year, its specialists saved 26 people. 581 trips were carried out, of which: 25 for search and rescue operations of a natural nature, 20 for emergency rescue operations of a man-made nature, 94 for preventive activities and 76 for educational and training activities.
As the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea clarified, at the end of the year, on the day of the celebration of Rescuer Day of the Russian Federation, the head of the Simferopol emergency rescue team “CRIMEA-SPAS” will be awarded a challenge pennant of the championship.
