The Ministry of Emergency Situations held exercises at the Urozhaynaya railway station, near Simferopol.

Today, September 19, in the building of the Urozhaynaya railway station, near Simferopol, fire-tactical exercises were held to eliminate a fire of increased complexity.
According to legend, the fire occurred in the rest room in the station building. The cause was an electrical short circuit. The facility workers were unable to put out the fire on their own. In addition, there were people in the room who needed help evacuating.
The first fire crews arrived at the scene of the fire four minutes after the signal was received at the dispatcher’s console. Employees of the 6th Fire and Rescue Squad assessed the situation and formed four units of the gas and smoke protection service to investigate and extinguish the fire. As a result of the reconnaissance, the victims were discovered, evacuated and transferred to emergency medical specialists.— said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Crimea.
Properly organized rescue operations and coordinated interaction of all participants in the exercises made it possible to eliminate the simulated fire in less than an hour.
In total, 25 personnel and 6 pieces of equipment were involved in the training from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
