CrimeaPRESS reports:

On behalf of the head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, specialists from the department, with the participation of the National Center for Assistance to Missing Children, have developed a special educational program for children “Beware of mines!”

Together we quickly respond to the changing risks and problems that children face in modern realities. Therefore, new Russian regions and territories bordering the Northeast Military District zone were selected as pilot ones. There it is vital for the population to know the safety rules when detecting explosive objects. And it is especially important to teach this to children, who often show their characteristic curiosity., — quotes the press service Alexandra Kurenkova.

The special course was presented at the II National Forum “Health and Safety of Children” by Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations Anatoly Suprunovsky and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Center for Assistance to Missing and Injured Children Elena Milskaya.

In the program “Beware of mines!” will include thematic reminders, videos and video lessons, animated films and games. News feeds are increasingly reporting on tragedies involving children in new territories; they become victims of explosive objects. Our task is to inform the population about the risks. The National Center, together with the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, is preparing a whole course on safe skills in certain territories and localities of new constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The main topic of these materials is how to recognize explosive objects and how to behave if they are discovered., — speaks Elena Milskaya.

The experience gained in the pilot subjects will form the basis of the new textbook “Fundamentals of Security and Defense of the Motherland.”
