The Ministry of Emergency Situations spoke about the elimination of the consequences of bad weather in Crimea

On November 18 and 19, a storm warning was announced in Crimea. The forecast came true.
The maximum precipitation fell on the territory of the Yalta municipality, the Alushta municipality and the Krasnogvardeisky district. Maximum wind gusts were recorded in the Black Sea and Leninsky regions— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
According to the emergency department, as a result of a complex of dangerous meteorological phenomena, power and gas supply outages were recorded. Numerous tree falls, 3 roof failures, 5 flooding of territories, and 1 mudflow were recorded.
All work to eliminate incidents related to bad weather is promptly carried out by specialized organizations and local governments. Employees of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS» were also involved in eliminating the consequences of bad weather. In total, over the weekend, a single number “112” received 3,368 calls related to the passage of a complex of dangerous meteorological phenomenanoted the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Today there is a storm warning in Crimea. Rescuers and utility services switched to working around the clock. In total, 189 people and 73 pieces of equipment were brought in from the RSChS to eliminate the consequences of bad weather in Crimea.
