The Ministry of Emergency Situations told the details of the evening accident on the Tavrida highway

Late in the evening (at 23:08) on May 11, the operator on duty received a signal that an accident had occurred in the area of ​​the 88th km of the Tavrida highway, in the Feodosia region. Rescuers’ help is required. The duty shift of the Feodosia emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS», as well as employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Crimea, ambulance doctors, and traffic police inspectors went to the scene of the incident.

Upon arrival, it turned out that there had been a collision between two Renault Duster and Chevrolet Niva cars. The Chevrolet Niva car left the roadway and then overturned onto its roof. The driver was trapped by the vehicle’s structures.

Rescuers used a hydraulic rescue tool to free the man and hand him over to paramedics. At the same time, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea carried out all the necessary measures to ensure fire safety at the scene of the accident— reported the emergency department.

The victim was hospitalized. The police are checking.
