The Ministry of Emergency Situations warns drivers: there is icy conditions on the roads of Crimea at night and in the morning

The Ministry of Emergency Situations issued a storm warning about adverse hydrometeorological phenomena in Crimea for January 17.

It is emphasized that icy conditions are expected on the roads at night and on Wednesday morning in the northern, central, eastern regions of Crimea and in the mountains.

Under these conditions, there is a high probability of emergencies associated with accidents at energy facilities, housing and communal services, an increase in the number of road accidents, disruptions in transport communications, obstruction of vehicle traffic on roads, long descents and ascents, dangerous turns and mountain passes.the message says.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea recommends observing safety measures. For drivers of vehicles — if impossible limit travel, be extremely careful on the road, do not exceed the speed limit and strictly follow traffic rules.

Tips for pedestrians: take special care when crossing the road; go outside in shoes with non-slip soles, move carefully, slowly, taking into account uneven surfaces.
