The Ministry of Finance of Crimea launches a new unique educational project “School by the Sea”

500 schoolchildren from all over Crimea for 21 days, from June 24 to July 14, will gather on the shores of the Black Sea at the Scarlet Sails Children’s Health Center as part of the unique educational project “School by the Sea”,” announced Irina Kiviko.
As the Deputy Prime Minister said, within the framework of the School, volunteers specially trained in the culture of economic thinking will immerse children during their recovery period in the world of initiatives and project activities.
And to increase knowledge in the field of financial literacy, representatives of the Office of the Federal Tax Service for the Republic of Crimea and the Southern Main Directorate of the Central Bank will introduce schoolchildren to the basics of public finance, banking and the tax system.
In addition, candidates of psychological sciences, candidates of economic sciences, specialists from the Center for Initiative Budgeting of the Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Finance of Russia and expert speakers will be involved in activities at the School to support the education of adolescents.
The project will give each child the opportunity to develop a culture of economic thinking and knowledge, abilities, skills in the field of financial literacy and project activities necessary for orientation and adaptation of modern students to ongoing changes in the life of society, will pave the way to self-knowledge and the realization of their abilitiessaid Irina Kiviko.
