The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office were involved in the consideration of the case of the energy blockade of Crimea

The court involved the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation as a third party, — Yuri Shturtsev, a lawyer from the Public Chamber representing her interests in court, told reporters.
The prosecutor’s office has been brought in to assess whether harm was caused to the life and health of Crimeans as a result of the blockade. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs was brought in to provide an opinion on the jurisdiction to consider the claim.
Public Chamber of Crimea filed claim March 29, 2024. The chamber reported that the defendants would be the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and the private joint-stock company National Energy Company Ukrenergo.
