The Ministry of Health of Crimea reminds about the right of heart patients to receive free medications

As part of the regional project “Combating Cardiovascular Diseases” of the national project “Healthcare”, citizens who suffered acute cerebrovascular accident, myocardial infarction, as well as patients who underwent coronary artery bypass grafting, angioplasty of the coronary arteries with stenting and catheter ablation for cardiac -vascular diseases have the right to receive free medications. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Crimea.

Citizens who do not have disabilities and have suffered acute cardiovascular conditions have the right to be discharged and provided with medications within two years from the date of occurrence of the listed case.

Citizens with disabilities who have retained a set of social services have the right to receive and receive prescription drugs under the federal benefit program.

Citizens with disabilities and who have refused a set of social services have the right to be prescribed and provided with medications monthly for 6 months under the regional benefit program— listed in the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.

Algorithm: after discharge from the hospital, the patient with a discharge summary contacts the attending physician at a medical organization at his place of residence. The attending physician, in accordance with the established procedure, admits the patient to the dispensary and writes prescriptions for the necessary medications. It is recommended to register with a dispensary as soon as possible (optimally within three days after discharge from the hospital) and continue continuous treatment by receiving free medications.

The list of medications for providing the above categories of patients on an outpatient basis was approved by the relevant order of the Russian Ministry of Health.

Drugs are dispensed according to prescribed prescriptions in the pharmacy network of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea “Crimea-Pharmacia”.

According to the cardiovascular disease program in the Republic of Crimea, a stock of medications has been created to meet the needs of each patient,” the Ministry of Health clarified.
