The Ministry of Industry of Crimea records a decrease in the price of chicken and draws attention to eggs
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Ministry of Industry of Crimea held a meeting on the issue of stabilizing prices for a socially significant group of goods. It is emphasized that pricing issues for socially significant products are under the constant control of the Crimean government.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the FAS Office for the Republic of Crimea, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea, large retail chains of the republic, and chicken egg producers.
The meeting participants considered the issue of pricing chicken eggs. We discussed measures to stabilize the price of poultry products. In particular, during a meeting between the heads of poultry enterprises, retail chains and a large distributor of the republic’s wholesale and retail trade system, an agreement was reached on the supply of chicken eggs of category C-2 to retail chains without a trade markup — at the manufacturer’s wholesale selling price— reported the Ministry of Industry of Crimea.
Let us note that in December prices for eggs jumped to 170-180 rubles per dozen. It is clear that a “reduction” to at least 150 rubles would be an achievement. An example is chicken.
The meeting participants also discussed the implementation of measures to stabilize the price of poultry meat. It was noted that retail chains in the region recorded a decrease in chicken carcass/chicken fillet. Today, the average price for poultry meat (chicken carcass) in the Republic of Crimea is 214.22 rubles. for 1 kgnoted the Ministry of Industry.
It was also noted that it is planned to gradually increase the volume of supplies of chicken meat, as well as chicken eggs, to the region’s retail chains in order to completely saturate the Republic’s food market with these products.
