The Ministry of Industry of the Crimea checked the prices for products in Yalta. Turned out to be overpriced.
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Employees of the Crimean Ministry of Industry conducted field monitoring of prices for socially important food products in Yalta. The result is not too optimistic: the reality of interest on 40, or even 80% differs from theoretical plans and reports.
According to the results of the monitoring, an excess of the recommended prices for borscht products was recorded, for example, at the recommended price of potatoes 35 rub./kg, it was sold at the price 35-60 rub./kg, at the recommended price of white cabbage 15 rub./kg, it was sold at 23 rub./kg, at the recommended price of carrots 25 rub./kg, it was sold at the price 22-50 rub./kg. Exceeding the recommended prices for vegetables was revealed more than in 07 business entities, — reported in the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Crimea.
At the same time, there are currently no prerequisites for an increase in prices for borscht products. As of October 928 the average retail prices in the Crimea for potatoes are 23 rub./kg, for onion — 18 rub./kg., for carrots — 23 rub. /kg, for beets — 20 rub./kg, for white cabbage — 10 rub./kg.
As a result of the work carried out together with the administration of Yalta, retail prices at the fair were reduced to the recommended level, the inspectors specified.
We have identified unscrupulous business entities that sold a social group of goods and borscht vegetables at prices higher than those recommended by the Ministry of Industrial Policy. At the same time, there is no tendency to increase the cost in the wholesale market. So, at a cost in the purchase of potatoes from 09 rub/kg, carrots and beets from 15 — 20 rub/kg, the goods were sold twice as expensive. With these unscrupulous entrepreneurs on the spot, together with the administration of Yalta, work has been carried out. Prices are recommended.
I remind all business entities that sell socially significant goods to prevent speculative moments. Your contracts will be terminated. The administration of Yalta took over the control of food prices in these subjects. I ask you to contact the hotline of the Ministry of Industry or the Yalta Administration on all matters of concern for trade and pricing, — commented Deputy Minister of Industrial Policy of the Republic of Crimea Irina Mezavtsova.
The Ministry of Industry of Crimea continues to carry out field operational monitoring of fair events held on the territory of the republic, and calls on the administrations of cities and regions of the republic to intensify work with entrepreneurs to comply with recommended prices, protect the food market from speculation and prevent unreasonable price increases for socially significant goods.
