The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea sums up the results of the operational and preventive measure “Alcohol”

On the territory of the Republic of Crimea, an operational and preventive measure was carried out under the code name “Alcohol”.
The event is aimed at preventing, identifying and suppressing crimes committed in the production and trafficking of alcohol, alcoholic, alcohol-containing and tobacco products, as well as in the production and trafficking of counterfeit excise and federal special stamps— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
The police identified 114 cases of illegal sale of alcoholic and tobacco products; over 65 tons of alcoholic and alcohol-containing products, as well as about 14.5 thousand packs of cigarettes, were seized from illegal circulation.

A criminal case has been initiated in Armyansk regarding the acquisition, transportation for the purpose of selling unmarked tobacco products subject to marking with special and excise stamps, committed on an especially large scale on the grounds of a crime under Part 6 of Art. 171.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Simferopol region opened a criminal case on the fact of illegal trafficking of ethyl alcohol, on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 171.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
For the use of counterfeit special (excise) stamps intended for marking tobacco products by an individual entrepreneur, the investigative department of the Feodosia police initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 4 of Art. 327.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Police officers have established facts of storage for the purpose of selling alcohol-containing products that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers in the city of Simferopol and the Bakhchisarai region. Facts of sales of alcohol-containing products dangerous to the life and health of consumers were revealed by police in the city of Saki, Kerch and the Black Sea region. In Simferopol, the fact of acquisition, storage for marketing purposes, and sale of unmarked tobacco products subject to special and excise stamps in especially large quantities was recorded— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
The materials collected by police officers in Simferopol, Kerch, Saki, Razdolnensky and Bakhchisarai districts were sent to the investigative authorities to make a procedural decision.
