The Ministry of Resorts of Crimea supports children's patriotic tourism projects
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Today, 1,600 children from Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory, and the Kherson region attended excursions in Simferopol and wrote letters to the future. The “Time Capsule – Letter to the Future” project introduced them to the sights and history of the capital of Crimea; the children laid flowers at the “Potato Town” memorial in memory of the Crimeans killed and tortured by the Nazis.
The Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea will continue to support children’s patriotic tourism projects. This was announced by the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Ganziy at a meeting with children at the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after Fevzi Yakubov.
Each of you sent a letter written in advance to the future, which will be kept until 2045. On the centenary of the end of the Great Patriotic War, the letter writers, who have already become parents, will open a time capsule and read all the messages they wrote as children. By leaving your wishes to your descendants, you thereby give yourself a set of guidelines for your future life. I would like to wish you, first of all, to love Crimea, study its history, travel to its natural and historical attractions. Knowing history, you will learn to understand the essence of events taking place today, — the minister’s press service quotes.
He also expressed confidence that the “Time Capsule – Letter to the Future” Project will become a significant event for children, contributing to the development of their civic responsibility and social activity.
Project organizers: LLC «RusCrimeTour», youth movement «Projects of the Motherland», Autonomous non-profit organization «Crimean Children’s Hospice», republican branch of the Union of Women of Russia, Charitable Foundation «Let’s Be Merciful».
With the support of: Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after Fevzi Yakubov, the administration of Simferopol, the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea.
