The Ministry of Resorts of Crimea works at the All-Russian tourism forum “Travel!”

Domestic tourism is also in focus as the most client-centric sector of the economy; in addition, the largest number of related industries and constant demand for workers in the industry are concentrated around tourism. The moderators were Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko and Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov.

As the speakers noted, the priority tasks by 2030 are to double the number of tours in Russia and the number of rooms, the number of foreign tourists — three times, and the share of the tourism industry in the Russian GDP — up to 5%. As part of the “Five Seas and Lake Baikal” project, five new resorts will be created from scratch, including in Crimea.

According to Sergei Ganziy, the primary issues of development of airport, railway, roadside infrastructure, which is of utmost importance for the development of the tourism sector of the republic, subsidizing hospitality industry projects (amusement parks, water parks, etc.), were discussed, which is also a promising direction for the development of all types tourism in the region.

Our goal of participating in such forums is to once again show everyone that vacation in Crimea is safe and accessible all year round; since the beginning of the year, more than 1 million guests have already vacationed here, who are greeted by 11 thousand attractions, 450 tourist routes, 1,100 classified accommodation facilities and permanent Crimean hospitality, — the press service quotes Sergei Ganzi.
