The Ministry of Resorts of the Republic of Crimea and the National Resort Association will continue cooperation on the development of the sanatorium and resort complex

In the city of Saki on the basis of the sanatorium named after. Pirogov, at the initiative of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, a round table was held on the development of the sanatorium and resort complex. The meeting of heads of Crimean sanatoriums and representatives of administrations was chaired by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, President of the National Resort Association Alexander Razumov. Topics were raised about returning Crimea to the status of an All-Russian health resort, preserving the health of the nation, comprehensive research and systematization of all natural healing deposits of Crimea, the creation of a national digital system that combines the routing of a patient from a clinic to a sanatorium, the development of balneology and peloid therapy and the combination of practical developments and experience with scientific research and regulatory legal framework.

As noted by the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Ganziy, following the results of the round table, an agreement was reached on holding an annual forum on balneology and peloid therapy in the Republic of Crimea, on the possibility of holding the federal forum “Health Resort” in the Republic of Crimea in 2026, on the creation of a unified coordination council for development of the sanatorium and resort industry in the Republic of Crimea.

The round table participants also visited the Federal Children’s Rehabilitation Center under construction in the city of Evpatoria.
