As the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Hanziy, noted, this year becomes indicative for representatives of the tourism industry and in particular for guides, so professional meetings will help increase the level of competencies of market participants.
Certification becomes mandatory from March 1, 2025. Guides, and translators can provide their services only if it is passing. At the legislative level, the concepts of “guide (guide)”, “guide — translator”, “instructor — conductor”, the procedure and criteria for mandatory certification in the Republic of Crimea are clarified, the powers of the specially authorized executive body of the Republic of Crimea in the field of resorts and tourism — the Ministry of Resorts — the Ministry of Resorts — the Ministry of Resorts and tourism of the Republic of Crimea, the provision on regional state control over activities are set out in the new edition,-quoted the press service of the minister.
According to him, about half of working guides have already passed certification, due to which the Republic of Crimea is among the leaders among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The Crimean school of guides was and remains one of the most experienced and the oldest in Russia, while innovative methods and new formats for conducting excursions are constantly being introduced.
The forum will discuss how the changes made will improve the quality of the provided tourist services in the Republic of Crimea, protect the interests of both local guides and tourists, explain the mechanisms for regulating the activities of guides at the level of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea. Also, representatives of the excursion community will have the opportunity to establish interaction with museum and cult institutions, objects of protected and agro -industrial tourism.
For the forum participants during the day, training events will be organized by the industry experts: Director of the ANO “Resource Center of the Info Region”, the Hid-Excursion, winner of the Grant Competitions of the Presidential Grants Fund and the Presidential Fund of Cultural Initiatives, the developer of innovative excursion products, the winner of the All-Russian Prize “ The route of the year ”and the“ Fleet Exhibitions ”contest Elena Kadatskaya, as well as the author-developer of the methodology of excursion activities, the guide-methodist of the forum“ We Together ”, a member of the expert council of the contest“ Flements of the meanings ”Polina Kurilova.
The event is supported by the industry Association «Tourist Alliance of Crimea».
The forum will end with a solemn award of the best representatives of the excursion of the republic in honor of World Wide -Tremist Day.
