The Moscow City Court left in custody Russian citizen Andrei Naukhatsky, who had previously been detained by the FSB on charges of high treason. About it reported in the press service of the court.
The court considered the appeal of A.V. Naukhatsky and decided to leave the decision on the preventive measure of the accused unchanged, and his complaint — without satisfactionthe message says.
Earlier, the Lefortovo Court of Moscow arrested him on charges of treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The essence of the charges against Naukhatsky is not disclosed; the materials of his case are classified.
According to the Federal Tax Service, Andrei Naukhatsky had the status of an individual entrepreneur until March 2020 and was registered in the village of Mezhvodnoye, Chernomorsky district of Crimea. He was engaged in private detective activities. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
