The most popular destinations among travelers on November 4 have been named. Simferopol in the top three

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The food delivery service for trains and planes, EduEm, together with the excursion organization service JoinPRO, conducted a study and found out where Russians will go on National Unity Day and how they plan to eat on the holidays.

It turned out that the most popular destination for booking excursions on November 3 and 4 was Sochi. It accounts for a fifth of all bookings. The average cost of participation in a group excursion in this city is 2,500 rubles.

Second place (with approximately 14% of bookings each) was taken by Moscow and St. Petersburg. Here the main interest is cultural and historical excursions. Group excursions around the Kremlin or Hermitage cost an average of 1,500 rubles.

The popularity of the capitals and Sochi during the November holidays is also confirmed by EduEm analytics. The largest number of orders (24%) for food on trains falls on the route Moscow — Anapa (and back), in second place is Moscow — Sochi (22%), in third is Moscow — Simferopol (17%), in fourth is Moscow — Novorossiysk (15% ). Fifth place is occupied by trains running between St. Petersburg and Sevastopol.

Thus, Moscow trains occupy 4 out of 5 positions in the top popular destinations.

Interestingly, a year earlier, departures from St. Petersburg were not among the top in popularity. And fifth place in the ranking was occupied by trains traveling from Moscow to Sukhum and back.

EduEm analysts also found out what train passengers most often order for National Unity Day. It turned out that the most popular dish for the holiday was country-style potatoes with cutlet (400 ₽), in second place was borscht (350 ₽), in third place was spaghetti carbonara (520 ₽).

Absolutely all popular dishes among travelers have become significantly more expensive over the year. Thus, borscht increased in price by 17%, spaghetti carbonara — by 21%. The price for margherita pizza increased the most — by 32% (from 469 rubles to 620 rubles), and for a large burger — by 67% (from 179 to 299 rubles).

The average bill for an order for the holidays reached RUB 1,760, which is 10% more than a year earlier.

In addition, EduEm specialists have compiled a real “Russian combo”, which can be ordered not only on Russian Unity Day, but also at any other time. Its cost is exactly 1000 ₽. The finished menu includes Russian borscht, dumplings and sbiten. This combo can be ordered, for example, at the Perm Kitchen cafe-museum.

The main lovers of delicious food on trains are families with children. They account for 23% of all orders. It is interesting that, according to JoinPRO, the main customers of individual excursions are also families with children. They prefer this format because of the ability to adapt the walk to the child’s needs.

In total, individual excursions account for 55% of all orders on JoinPRO. Their cost starts from 5000 ₽. Group excursions are cheaper for travelers; usually a place in them costs from 1,000 rubles to 3,500 rubles.
