The most popular places in Crimea are Little Jerusalem and Swallow's Nest

Operator Miranda, thanks to cellular network data, has identified the most popular tourist spots on the Crimean Peninsula in the warm season of 2024, from May to October. The top three attractions included the sights of Little Jerusalem, Swallow’s Nest and the Karalarsky Nature Reserve, the press service of the operator reported.

The top 10 attractions of the peninsula this year included the Karalarsky reserve, Little Jerusalem, Swallow’s Nest, Uchan-Su waterfall, Lake Sasyk-Sivash, Belyaus spit, Mount Ai-Petri, Tauride Chersonesos and Mount Demerdzhi. The least number of tourists visited the southwestern coast: Cape Fiolent, Balaklava Bay, Cape Sarych, Suatkan waterfall, as well as the Marble Cave, located in the Simferopol region of Crimea— quotes the message TASS.

The company analyzed which regions of Russia brought more tourists. The leaders here were visitors from Moscow and the Moscow region (23% of the total number of visitors), St. Petersburg (6.6%), Rostov-on-Don (8.2%), Belgorod region (3.2%) and Krasnodar edges (4.7%). The smallest number of vacationers visited the peninsula from Altai (0.01%), Chukotka (0.03%) and Magadan (0.05%).
