The Museum-Reserve Tauric Chersonesos will host a gala concert of world ballet stars

and 29 July, the Tauric Chersonese Museum-Reserve will host a gala concert of ballet dancers from the leading Russian theaters.

We are pleased to host the participants of the gala concert of world ballet stars for the third time in Sevastopol. This year, the organizers will present masterpieces of world dance classics in the open air in the most beautiful architectural ensembles of Tauric Chersonese. The theater scenes were replaced by the leading ballet dancers with the incredibly beautiful site of the ancient city. The scenery for the ballet stars will be nature: the sea and the basilica of Chersonesus , — said Irina Romanets, director of the Department of Culture of Sevastopol.

Honored and People’s Artists of Russia, ballerinas of the Bolshoi Theater, laureates of international competitions will take part in the Gala Concert. Among them are the ballet dancer Sergei Polunin; ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre, People’s Artist of Russia Svetlana Zakharova; ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre, Honored Artist of Russia, People’s Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Yekaterina Krysanova; ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre, Honored Artist of Russia Evgenia Obraztsova; ballerina MAMT them. Recall that the Sevastopol State Opera and Ballet Theater for the first time held a Gala concert of world ballet stars in 2020 year. Since then, every season the theater has been presenting the best in classical choreographic art and modern dance to residents and guests of the Crimean peninsula.
