The Nature of Art Festival invites you to concerts in blooming lavender fields of Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On July 1 and 2, the endless lavender fields of the village of Turgenevka will again become the site of the Nature of Art Festival. Two magnificent concerts will be held here — «Opera and Ballet» and «Jazz and Latin». The best jazz and classical musicians, singers and dancers from Krasnodar and various cities of Crimea, as well as a special guest from the USA, showman Stephen Mitchell will take part in the Festival. In addition to concerts, guests will find a lavender tour, a lilac fair, lavender ice cream and much more.
The Nature of Art Festival is a unique project that combines the beauty of nature and art in one ensemble. It is dedicated to the great Russian artist Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky. His creative concept is to present a gallery of «living» paintings in the natural picturesque scenery of the Crimea. Musical, dance and theatrical performances in open natural areas — in blooming peach orchards, in lavender fields, in blooming roses, in hemp fields, vineyards and the seashore — become new cultural spaces and a source of incomparable aesthetic sensations and impressions— noted in the organizing committee of the event.
The next «etude» of the Festival will be the painting «Evening in Lavender Colors». The stage, erected right in the midst of blooming lavender fields under the open southern sky, will become the basis of a unique cultural space and a source of incomparable aesthetic impressions in mesmerizing purple landscapes and intoxicating aromas. The program and libretto will reflect the atmosphere and character of this amazing place.
The fields of Agrofirm «Turgenevskaya» are among the largest in Eastern Europe. This plantation, spread over 280 hectares, is over 25 years old:
- On July 1, the Opera and Ballet concert will take place in beautiful purple scenery. The event will feature masterpieces of world classics, familiar to everyone. Lilac picturesque paintings will be filled with music from famous operas and operettas by Verdi, Strauss, Kalman, Lehar, Rimsky-Korsakov, Donizetti, Tchaikovsky and other great composers. The dance part of the program will feature duets and solos from the great ballets — Don Quixote, Scheherazade, Genzano Flower Festival, La Bayadère and Esmeralda. The evening will also be decorated with your favorite melodies on the theme of love in a classic performance.
