The Naval Cadet Ball took place in the Yalta House-Museum of A.P. Chekhov

In the literary exhibition hall of the Yalta House-Museum of the writer Anton Chekhov, a cadet ball was held for pupils of the Children’s Maritime Center. Young men in full dress uniform and their companions in ball gowns immersed the guests of the Belaya Dacha in the era of waltzes and quadrilles.
The evening was opened by debutants – first-grade cabin boys, who, together with their older comrades, performed the waltz of friendship.
The participants of the ball demonstrated their skills not only in traditional dances such as waltz, quadrille, polonaise, but also performed an ancient dance of the 14th century — krakowiak.
