The new boiler room in Balaclava will provide a warmth of almost 50 apartment buildings, school and kindergarten

Within the framework of the state program “Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol”, the reconstruction of the boiler room on 10 Rocket Street, construction and installation work, is continued by 80% and are carried out in accordance with the approved schedule. The end of the main work is scheduled until the end of 2025.

At the initial stage, specialists of the contracting organization dismantled outdated water tanks, which were previously used as part of an old boiler room.

After that, the complex preparation of the territory was completed: the pile field was drilled, foundation plates are filled under the modular boiler room and chimney.

The most important stage was the intake and installation of a block-modular boiler room, consisting of four blocks of 18 tons each. Installation was carried out in difficult conditions — a narrow street, dense development and the presence of underground utilities. Nevertheless, due to the high coordination and professionalism of the team, all the modules are successfully installed, connected and prepared for commissioning.

Now work is underway on the strapping of engineering equipment, the development of trenches for external water supply networks and laying out utility communications. Given the constrained conditions of the site, a significant part of the work is performed manually,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol, director of Citigazstroy LLC Mikhail Chamav.

The new modular boiler room is a sample of a modern approach to heat supply. It is fully automated and does not require the constant presence of staff. The work of the boiler room is controlled by sensors, including weather -dependent automation, which independently regulates the supply of coolant depending on the temperature of the outer air.

All key parameters-pressure, temperature, and the condition of the equipment-in real time are transmitted to the central server of the emergency dispatch service. The video surveillance system and penetration sensors ensure the safety of the object from unauthorized access.

According to the chief specialist of the Unified Capital Construction Directorate of Evgenia Shindak, the reconstruction of the boiler room on the street. Rocket, 10 is not just a technical update. This is a direct improvement in the quality of life of thousands of Sevastopol residents. After commissioning, the facility will provide stable and effective heat supply of about 50 apartment buildings, as well as a school and a kindergarten in the microdistrict.

The new boiler room will allow:
