The new project of the Crimean Children's Hospice «Route of Care» received grant support

The Fund of Presidential Grants will send 7.5 million rubles to the implementation of the project “The Care Route and Technology for the Case in the Palliative Assistance System for Children and their families in the Republic of Crimea”.

This project of the Crimean children’s hospice became the winner of the second contest of the Fund in 2025. It will allow you to coordinate the support of families with seriously ill children and introduce in the region

New technology for organizing assistance — work with the case.

This system is based on clear algorithms, regulations, checklists and modern digital tools. The families will have a coordinator, which will draw up an individual support plan, remove the load on the search for information, interaction with various specialists from the parents, and also organizes the delivery of necessary assistance and medical equipment to the house. The field patronage service of palliative medical care will continue to visit children at home, at least 700 doctors and nurses are planned. Parents will also receive the help of a psychologist (at least 240 consultations) and a social worker (at least 100 consultations)— said Anna Ryzhkova, Director General of the Crimean Children’s Hospice.

The co -financing of the project by the Crimean Children’s Hospice will amount to 2.3 million rubles. The project is designed for a year and a half. Its implementation will begin on July 1, 2025 and will continue on December 31, 2026.

For five years, the Crimean children’s hospice has been providing comprehensive palliative assistance to seriously ill children in the Republic of Crimea. In 2022, he opened a palliative department of medical care for children with a visiting team of doctors on the basis of the Republican Children’s Clinical Hospital. Currently, 185 children throughout Crimea need palliative support. During the hospice, 235 seriously ill children received assistance.

The Hospice team also implements the projects “Dobrobil”, “Dobronyan”, “Instead of mom”, “adults”, “prostrate”, supports the training of medical personnel and specialists in the field of children’s palliative care and builds the first children’s hospice on the Black Sea.
