The new season of the Rugby School League in Sevastopol has started
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The opening of the third season of the Rugby School League took place on the basis of the sports and recreation complex named after 200 anniversary of Sevastopol. The participants of the competition were 38 teams from 14 educational institutions — in total 300 people.
It’s great that young Sevastopol residents of different ages take part in the competition. The Hero City grows every year with new accessible facilities for physical culture and sports. Rugby in the city of Sevastopol is one of the most dynamically developing sports. Teamwork and the growth of infrastructure are already yielding sports results. Today, the future reserve of Sevastopol and Russian rugby has gathered at this stadium, and I, of course, am sure that this will bear fruit , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the department for youth and sports, Sergei Reznichenko.
Throughout the season, teams will score points, which will allow them to rank the best in each of the seven age categories.
Recall that the Rugby Federation of Russia aims to form a rating of school teams from all over the country. In the spring, the best Sevastopol athletes will represent the region at the All-Russian competitions in Moscow.
