Rescuers of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS» evacuated tourists from a dangerous area in the area of the Ayan-Dere river bed.
Yesterday, at 20:05, the emergency department’s operational control panel received a signal that a guy and a girl, descending from Babugan-yayla along the bed of the Ayan-Dere River (Alushta), entered a difficult area of terrain. They cannot continue moving on their own. Rescuers’ help is needed in their search and evacuation.— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Employees of the Alushta ASO of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS» and members of the Regional Branch of «ROSSOYUZSPAS» of the Republic of Crimea, having previously contacted the tourists and found out their approximate location, went to the search and rescue area. Upon arrival, they set out on foot to search for the victims. As a result, visual contact was established with the young people using flashlights and light from phones. They were found in a difficult area with a cliff and did not require medical attention. In compliance with all safety measures, rescuers evacuated the tourists.
