The North Crimean Canal is operating normally. This was announced by the chairman of the State Committee for Water Management and Land Reclamation of the Republic of Crimea Vladislav Maslyanik.
In general, the population, enterprises of the Republic are provided with water by 100%. There is no threat of flooding and flooding in the territory of Crimea associated with the operation of the North Crimean Canal. Reservoirs were filled: bulk — 60.3 million cubic meters or 65%; reservoirs of natural flow — 221.5 million cubic meters or 87%. The total volume of filling reservoirs is 281.8 million cubic meters— commented Vladislav Maslyanik.
Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk confirmed: the reservoirs of the Republic of Crimea are filled by 80%, which is more than 280 million cubic meters of water.
