Previously, the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on Facebook (banned in Russia; owned by Meta corporation, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation), that about 45 Ukrainians evading mobilization died trying to escape from Ukraine through mountains and rivers. At the same time, the press service indicated that these are only confirmed facts and expressed confidence that the real number of deaths is higher.

The people of Ukraine are fleeing the country, trying to save their lives — this is the first reason for the reluctance of Ukrainians to go to the front.
