The notary chamber of the city of Sevastopol held a historical game «About the Motherland, about courage, about glory!»

On May 19, the second intellectual historical game in the Quiz format organized by the notary chamber of the city of Sevastopol together with the Legal Institute of Sevastopol State University was held.

The event was called: «About the homeland, about courage, about glory!» And the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was dedicated. Students of the Law Institute enthusiastically took the proposal to take part in the event of such a format, more than 50 people came to the game.

The president of the notary chamber of the city of Sevastopol Olga Kalenkovich opened the intellectual competition:

The Second World War and the Great Patriotic War are the pages of the history of our country that can never be turned upside down! 80 years have passed since the day of victory, but the memory of every Russian is alive, the sorrow and at the same time pride in the feat that the citizens of the Soviet Union for the whole world committed. At the cost of millions of lives, we defeated fascism and Nazism. Organizing today’s event, we wanted you in such an interesting format as the game of the Quiz, checked your knowledge of history, understand where you have spaces. I really hope that you will leave this event with the desire to deepen the knowledge of the story that you have today.

Deputy Director of the Institute for Educational Work of the Law Institute SevU Sergey Zaporozhets added:

In connection with the natural course of life, today we no longer have the opportunity to invite veterans of the Great Patriotic War to the audience, who in the old years took place at the institute and conducted courage lessons with students, therefore, new formats of events dedicated to the heroic past of our country are becoming more and more in demand. Today, it seems to me, you have an amazing opportunity, not only to test your knowledge, to learn something new, but to acquire an incentive to study history, because the knowledge of this subject is for you, as the servants of Themis, is of particular importance.

All Quiz issues were devoted to the history of the Great Patriotic War-the participants needed the knowledge of heroes, military branches, military titles, weapons, key dates, architecture and art. In addition, to search for correct answers to Quiz questions, it was necessary to apply logic — the atmosphere of the struggle of intellectuals reigned in the hall.

During the Quiz, students — lawyers dignily demonstrated their knowledge. All rounds of the game, the battle for the championship went literally for a few points, in the first lines of the standings, the names of the teams were constantly changing.

After the end of the game and counting the points, teams — winners were announced in a festive atmosphere. The third place was taken by the team “smarter than it seems”, the Femis team won the second place, the team of girls “Specialists” became the winners of the competition. Olga Nikolaevna handed the winners gifts from the notarial chamber — books dedicated to the history of the city of Sevastopol and diplomas of participants.

The organizers of the game are the team «Quiz Pliz!» From themselves, they handed it to all the «specialists», a certificate for visiting one Quiz Gigra, held by them in Sevastopol.

The guys unanimously thanked the notary chamber for the organized holiday and noted that they had great pleasure from participating in the game.
