The number of ambulance calls increased significantly in Crimea

Krympress reports:

Summer and vacation are concepts incompatible with an ambulance. We traditionally do not go on vacation in the summer, because it is a peak load, especially in the holiday season. The people on the peninsula became noticeably more — according to the sensations, we have already surpassed even Soviet indicators— said the doctor.

Ambulance in Crimea copes with the increased load thanks to pre -accepted measures, he noted. In the spring, preparations for the season have begun, including an increase in the number of staff. According to Olefirenko, from July 27, 40 students of medical universities who have been training and are ready to work in brigades will enter the state.

This year, a program is pillarly implemented, according to which 4-5 courses, instead of traditional practice, work as assistants to paramedics. The director of the Disaster Medicine Center said that in the future it is planned to make such a form of employment year -round.

In general, the system is interesting. Students have been training and work. And at the same time, the university goes towards, they create an individual training plan. That is, we leave this story when the student worked out at night, and then in the morning with red swollen eyes goes to pairs, — said Olefirenko.

Despite the increased load, the ambulance standards remain the same: the brigade should arrive on emergency calls for 20 minutes, for urgent ones within two hours.

Of course, we, first of all, direct forces to emergency cases — those where the issues of life and death are resolved. Emergency challenges can sag in time, but hospitals are connected to help us. On behalf of the Ministry of Health, the work of their emergency care services is strengthened, ”said the director of the center.

In Crimea, they plan to implement a project for training paramedics at the expense of the employer. The Center for Disaster Medicine will pay for the training of specialists in the specialty «Medicine». The program is designed for applicants entering college after grade 11 on a contract basis. After graduation, they will have to work 3 years in the sponsor organization.
