The one-time payment to SVO participants upon receipt of injury has been increased to 4 million rubles. Presidential Decree

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Russian President Vladimir Putin increased the size of the one-time payment to SVO participants in case of injury resulting in disability to 4 million rubles. The corresponding decree of the Head of State was published on portal legal information.

On the eve of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation approved the amount of one-time payments to SVO participants upon receipt of injury, depending on the degree of its severity. Military personnel who received severe injuries and injuries will receive 3 million rubles, minor injuries — 1 million rubles, and in case of other minor injuries — 100 thousand rubles.

Thus, military personnel who received a payment of 3 million rubles for a serious injury will receive an additional 1 million rubles after disability is established. This standard will be extended to all SVO participants who received a serious injury resulting in disability in the period from February 24, 2022.

At the beginning of the SVO, payments to the families of military personnel who died during a special operation were established in the amount of 5 million rubles, payments in case of injury — 3 million rubles. Later, similar payments were extended to other participants of the SVO, volunteers, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Investigative Committee and others.

As noted TASSOn November 5, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a detailed investigation into the issue of social support for SVO participants who were seriously injured. This is especially true for fighters who have undergone amputation. State Secretary — Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Anna Tsivileva noted that the current form of compensation does not take into account individual circumstances and the seriousness of the injuries received, since both minor injuries and injuries that resulted in disability are considered financially equivalent.
