The performance of the Crimean Academic Puppet Theater “Call Nina” was awarded a diploma “For directorial debut” of the II Open Festival of Puppet Theaters “Patriot”. Participants in the creative project, which took place in Krasnodar, included theaters from Grozny, Ozersk, Simferopol, Krasnodar, Volgograd, Vyborg and Belgorod.
Over the course of five days, puppeteers shared experiences related to the heroic past of our country, presenting their stories to the audience, using modern drama and the literature of Soviet classicsreports the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
The main theme of the festival is patriotic education. The competition program was held in the category “Best Patriotic Performance”. The performance based on the fantastic story by Kir Bulychev presented by the Crimean Theater is the first directorial work of Alina Vasilyeva.
