In Simferopol, an operational and preventive measure was held under the code name «Public Place». According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea, the purpose of the checks was to prevent crime in public places, including in the street, as well as countering illegal migration, preventing child neglect and homelessness.
The event was attended by employees of various departments of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Simferopol, as well as employees of the National Guard, OMON and representatives of the military commandant’s office of the Simferopol garrison.
More than 80 law enforcement officers during the night were actively working to ensure public order on the streets of the city, as well as to prevent and solve serious and especially serious crimes, to prevent illegal trafficking in weapons and drugs.
As a result of persistent and purposeful work, the employees identified a citizen who had an item structurally similar to a pistol.
Also, as a result of purposeful work, facts of violation of migration legislation were revealed, according to which protocols on an administrative offense were drawn up. Facts of violation of the rules for the sale of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products were revealed. Administrative protocols have been drawn up for drinking alcoholic products, as well as for involving a minor in the use of alcoholic and alcohol-containing products, new potentially dangerous psychoactive substances or intoxicants— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
In addition, law enforcement officers drew up administrative protocols for improper fulfillment of parental obligations, violation of silence and disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer.
In turn, traffic police inspectors, as a result of checking vehicles, identified 12 administrative offenses, including: driving a car without documents, while intoxicated, violating the rules of stopping and parking, violating the rules of distance and interval, leaving the scene of an accident, as well as violating traffic rules. movement by a pedestrian or other person participating in the process of road traffic.
During only one night, police officers of various departments in the city of Simferopol revealed one crime and more than 40 administrative offenses, and also delivered to the police departments of the Office more than 90 citizens— emphasized in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
