The police reported the detention of a resident of Feodosia, who is accused of blowing up a moped with the intent to kill

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea, together with representatives of the regional FSB Directorate of Russia, detained a resident of Feodosia. An unemployed man is accused of attempted murder in a generally dangerous manner using an improvised explosive device.

It has been previously established that the attacker planted a bomb in the luggage compartment of a moped that was parked near an apartment building. As a result of the explosion, three people were injured and glass was broken in the windows. The defendant was identified and detained with the support of the National Guard. A search was carried out at his place of residence and in his garage, as a result of which foreign-made explosives, components for preparing an explosive mixture and fuses were seized— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

The materials collected by the operational services were transferred to the bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia for investigative actions.
