This year, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs will send an additional 500 police officers to Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory and Sirius to ensure the safety of tourists. This was announced by the head of the department for organizing law enforcement on the streets and public places of the main department for ensuring the protection of public order and coordinating interaction with the executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Andrey Poltavets during a conference call with the regions of the Russian Federation to prepare for the summer tourist season.

In order to increase the density of police squads on the streets and other public places of resort areas, this year the ministry plans to additionally send over 500 internal affairs officers to the Republic of Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory, the city of Sevastopol, and the federal territory of Sirius.he said.

Poltavets noted that the service is organized taking into account the organization of the operational situation, places of mass excursion services, on pedestrian routes and other places of mass stay of vacationers.

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are already carrying out explanatory work in the places where vacationers live, aimed at suppressing family and domestic conflicts, ensuring personal and property securitynotes Andrey Poltavets.

According to a representative of the department, they have also strengthened control over the state of law and order in forest areas, public gardens, landscape museums, nature reserves, areas adjacent to reservoirs, and other spontaneous recreation areas for citizens.
