The practices of the “My Business” center in Sevastopol are on the list of the best in supporting entrepreneurship in Russia
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Advanced initiatives of the regions were presented in the report “On the state of small and medium-sized businesses in the Russian Federation and measures for its development for 2019–2022”, published on website Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
One of the best regional practices is a microloan for exporters at 1% per annum up to 5 million rubles, which was launched in Sevastopol in 2023. The support measure is provided for a period of up to three years in the non-profit organization “Microcredit company microfinance fund for small and medium-sized businesses in the city of Sevastopol”, which is located in the “My Business” center. Also noted in the report as one of the best initiatives in the country is the “Women’s Business” business club, which has been operating for about two years in Sevastopol and unites over 120 business women in the region.
The My Business Center is constantly in dialogue with the region’s entrepreneurial community: we hear business requests, create new projects to meet their needs, and share this experience with colleagues from other regions to scale best practices throughout the country. The center team is proud that our experience is spreading and can be useful to entrepreneurs in other regions, — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the center, Natalia Borisova.
The list of best regional practices in the “Interaction with Regions” rating also includes monthly meetings with control, supervisory and inspection bodies, which are held at the site of the “My Business” center. They are attended by Deputy Governor of Sevastopol Maria Litovko, representatives of the Department of Economic Development, the Prosecutor’s Office, and Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs Ilya Pesternikov. Such interaction helps to resolve emerging issues and problematic issues for small and medium-sized businesses.
Let us remind you that the “My Business” center has been operating in Sevastopol since 2019 as part of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises”. Since the beginning of the year, 2,992 small and medium-sized businesses, 819 self-employed and 1,582 individuals have received support.
