The President of the Notary Chamber of Sevastopol took part in a meeting on the implementation of a system of providing free legal assistance

The Department of the Ministry of Justice of Russia for Sevastopol hosted a joint meeting of representatives of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the city of Sevastopol, the Bar and Notary Chambers and the State Fund for Support of Participants in the special military operation “Defenders of the Fatherland”. The event was attended by the President of the Notary Chamber of the city of Sevastopol Olga Kalenkovich.
At the business meeting, issues of improving the legal regulation of the provision of free legal assistance in the city were discussed, including through interaction with the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation.
To implement the system of providing free legal assistance, those present determined the procedure for issuing powers of attorney by notaries for a certain circle of persons without charging a regional tariff and reimbursing the notary for amounts for which benefits were provided from the city budget.
As part of interaction with the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, it is planned to continue work on holding joint on-site receptions for citizens in the villages of the city of Sevastopol during 2024.
