The President of the Notary Chamber of Sevastopol took part in a working meeting in the Legislative Assembly

A working meeting was held in the building of the Legislative Assembly of the city of Sevastopol as part of the All-Russian Week of Legal Aid on issues of protecting the interests of the family with the participation of representatives of the Department of Finance of the Government of the city of Sevastopol, the Legislative Assembly, the prosecutor’s office, justice, the Civil Registry Office of the city of Sevastopol and the Notary Chamber of the city of Sevastopol.
On behalf of the city notary office, the President of the Chamber, Olga Kalenkovich, took part in the working meeting.
During the meeting, those gathered discussed the following issues:
- Legislation of Sevastopol in the area of establishing guardianship and trusteeship in relation to persons aged 14 to 18 years, recognized by a court decision as incapacitated or of limited capacity due to a mental disorder;
- development and establishment in Sevastopol of the Procedure for concluding marriage in a ceremonial setting;
- discussed the initiative to include in the federal law on the federal budget for 2025 and subsequent years the income from the state fee for the registration of civil status acts by the civil registry offices of the subjects at a rate of 100%;
- the need to expand the list of cases of providing free legal aid in the form of representing the interests of citizens participating in the free legal aid system and their family members by lawyers participating in the state system of free legal aid in courts, state and municipal bodies and organizations.
Constructive decisions were made on all issues.
