The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, congratulated the Minister of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea, Igor Illarionov, on his promotion to rank.

In accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Igor Illarionov was awarded the special rank of lieutenant general of police.

Under the leadership of Igor Valentinovich Illarionov, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea carries out systematic and effective work, ensuring the safety of Crimeans,” the Head of the Republic emphasized in his congratulations and wished him further success in serving for the benefit of the Motherland.

Igor Illarionov headed the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea in February 2023. From 2021 to 2023, he served as deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Moscow.
