The Presidium of the Crimean Parliament discussed a plan for the implementation of the main provisions of the Presidential Address

In his annual Address to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin touched upon issues of domestic policy, including social support for citizens, economic development, topics of ensuring the country’s security, and also identified the tasks facing Russia for the next six years. First Deputy Head of the Crimean Parliament Efim Fiks recalled this at a meeting of the Presidium of the State Council of the Republic.

According to him, the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, along with other legislative bodies of power of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, adopts appropriate plans for the implementation of the President’s message.

Our draft plan was formed on the basis of 57 proposals from parliamentary committees and consists of two sections: the first is the preparation of proposals to amend the legislation of the Republic of Crimea. The section concerns the development of republican draft laws on amending existing laws, as well as one basic law “On volunteerism (volunteering) in the Republic of Crimea.” The second section is holding round tables, committee meetings, monitoring the enforcement of regulatory legal acts and other events,” said Efim Fix.

Following the discussion, the Presidium instructed the Legislation Committee to organize work on preparing for consideration at a meeting of the State Council in April 2024 the issue “On the activities of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea to implement the main provisions of the Address of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of February 29, 2024 «
