The problem of power supply to Yevpatoria will be solved by the modernization of two city high-voltage substations

The Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, made a working trip to Yevpatoria, where he inspected the modernized high-voltage substations “Evpatoria” and “Moinaki”.

As the General Director of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo» Vyacheslav Gaiduk informed, both substations are key objects of the network infrastructure of the western coast of Crimea. Updating them will increase the stability of the energy supply and create a reserve for connecting new subscribers to the power grid.

Sergei Aksyonov emphasized that energy facilities will help stimulate the further development of Yevpatoria and the Saki region, and will also create prospects for the development of adjacent territories.

He recalled that to improve the reliability of power supply in the republic, the technical renovation of 110 substations is ongoing, primarily in rural areas.

The number of citizen complaints related to power outages in the Simferopol region has sharply decreased. However, the problem persists in Leninsky, Saki, and Kirovsky districts, so work to replace equipment will continue. The issue of reconstruction and modernization of the electrical grid is under our special control,” the Head of the Republic emphasized.

Sergei Aksyonov also announced that, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Russian Government is allocating about 13 billion rubles to the Republic of Crimea as part of the implementation of the federal year-round resort project “Five Seas and Lake Baikal”. The funds will be used for the construction and provision of infrastructure to the facilities of future resorts.

Let me remind you that the territory will cover an embankment with a length of more than 12 kilometers. This will be practically the longest well-maintained beach in Russia. The implementation of the project will open up many opportunities for the prosperity of Crimea, including creating jobs and providing new tax revenues to the budget,” noted the Head of Crimea.

According to him, the development of the Republic in general and the Evpatoria urban district in particular occurs with the constant support of the President and the federal center.
