The profession “secretary” is the leader in the growth of vacancies and average salary offers

Avito Works experts have identified a list of mass office professions with the largest increase in the number of vacancies and average salaries offered in the spring of 2024. According to the platform, the number of vacancies increased by 57% this spring compared to the previous period. The largest increase in job offers among mass office professionals fell on secretaries—employer demand has increased almost 3 times since last spring (+197%). Average offered salaries for applicants for this position have also increased significantly over the year.

The top three in terms of the number of new vacancies in the spring of 2024 also included the professions of event management manager (+129%) and sales manager (+68%). Employers were willing to offer candidates for the position of event management manager an average of 67,925 rubles per month (+20%), and applicants for the position of sales manager — 79,206 rubles per month (+14%).

A significant increase in the number of active vacancies also occurred in the professions of broker (+61% over the year) and HR manager (+41%).

The increased demand of employers for qualified personnel has affected the need to raise average salary offers to attract new employees. The average salary offers grew most actively during the year for the vacancy of a secretary — applicants for this position were offered 44% more when compared year-on-year, and the average salary offers amounted to 54,299 rubles per month for a full-time job.

The average salary offers for candidates for the position of bank employee increased by 38%, amounting to 73,497 rubles per month. They began to offer 35% more compared to last spring to new employees for the position of tourism agent — in the spring of this year, applicants could count on an average of 75,669 rubles per month. However, the real income of travel agents depends on the results of their work and is usually not tied to salary.
