The promenade part of the embankment in Koktebel will be reconstructed after the high holiday season. Currently, the contractor is carrying out preparatory and construction work outside the pedestrian part of the embankment and the beaches. The decision to start active construction work was made after working meetings initiated by the Ministry of Resorts of Crimea with the entrepreneurs of the village and representatives of the administration of the city district of Feodosia.
These works should be synchronized with the construction of treatment facilities and a system of distributing collectors in the urban settlement. Koktebel. According to the project, the length of the embankment itself will be 1.9 km. The project provides for the expansion of the existing promenade area to 30 m, the backfilling and expansion of the beach area from 35 m to 50 m, the arrangement of wave barriers, ramps, lighting, the arrangement of Voloshin Square as a separate project, taking into account the historical component, and also, in the “body” of the embankment, a gathering collector and other communications. As a result, the legendary and historical village will receive a modern infrastructure facility.
At the same time, a project is being considered to “re-seal” the village in order to fully collect runoff from the entire village, as well as repair and asphalting of roads, gasification and energy. In general, Koktebel will become one of the most attractive for recreation and comfortable for its residents of settlements in the republic, as well as extremely interesting in terms of investment— said the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko.
The reconstruction of the embankment is being carried out as part of the implementation of infrastructure facilities for the tourist and recreational cluster Koktebel of the federal target program Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol.
